Chatt
Postgraduate Certificate in Education
BSc in Biomedical Science

science lead

With over 6 years of experience teaching Mathematics and Sciences, Chatt developed a tailored way of teaching core curriculum by scaffolding her lessons and break them in to chunks in a way that is manageable for the student. Chatt uses real-life examples, pictures, dialogue and questioning in order for the student to understand what they are learning and not just learn the mechanics. She uses simple two-way instruction so that her student can access the lesson.

Chatt has a proven record that her top-up students (after-school hours students) improved a grade or two with one recently achieved two 9's from a 5.

Her homeschoolers leave with GCSEs even though they have not been in school since Year 8, for example.

She is patient, gentle, methodical with her teaching and will take the student right to basic if necessary, and will not move on the lesson until the student understood the topic.

Destiny
MPhil University of Cambridge
BSc  Finance and Banking

mathematics lead

Currently continuing my studies at the University of Cambridge, pursuing the Master of Philosophy (MPhil) in Real Estate Finance as a fully funded Cambridge Trust Scholar. I previously graduated with a degree in Banking and Finance, finishing top of my class and receiving the Bristol Business School Award for outstanding academic performance.

Tutoring is deeply rewarding for me because it gives me the opportunity to help students grow in confidence and become the best they can be. I tutored mathematics for four years across different levels, ranging from GCSE Foundation to Higher Tier Mathematics, and I also have experience supporting children with special educational needs. In addition to my academic ability, I worked for Bristol City Council handling finance for SEND. I enjoy teaching Mathematics particularly Algebra and Data Handling which is the core of GCSE Mathematics.

What differentiates me from other tutors is that I genuinely care about my students’ progress. I take the time to understand their strengths, challenges, and learning styles, and I always give my best to ensure they achieve their goals. Many of my students have gone on to become recognised as top performers in their classes, which is something I am truly proud of.
