1. Agreement to Terms
These Terms and Conditions constitute a legally binding agreement made between you, whether personally or on behalf of an entity, and Student-led Tutoring, concerning your access to and use of our educational services, including personalized KS3, GCSE, and A-Level tuition. By enrolling in our programs or using our website, you acknowledge that you have read, understood, and agreed to be bound by all of these Terms and Conditions. If you do not agree with all of these terms, then you are expressly prohibited from using the services and must discontinue use immediately.
2. Intellectual Property and Service Usage
Unless otherwise indicated, all educational materials, including lesson plans, kinaesthetic resources, and proprietary curriculum guides developed by our qualified teachers, are the property of Student-led Tutoring. You are granted a limited, non-exclusive license to use these materials solely for the personal, non-commercial educational benefit of the registered student. Any unauthorized reproduction or distribution of our specialized SEND or alternative provision materials is strictly prohibited.
- You may not record, download, or redistribute live tutoring sessions or digital course content without express written permission from Student-led Tutoring.
- You may not use our services to solicit our tutors for private employment outside of the Student-led Tutoring platform or framework.
- You must provide accurate and up-to-date information regarding the learner's academic history and SEND requirements to ensure the safety and efficacy of the personalized tuition.
3. Disclaimer and Limitation of Liability
Our services are provided on an 'AS IS' and 'AS AVAILABLE' basis. While our sessions are led by qualified teachers with Biomedical Science backgrounds and PGCE certifications, Student-led Tutoring does not guarantee specific examination results or grade improvements. To the maximum extent permitted by law, Student-led Tutoring shall not be liable for any direct, indirect, or consequential losses resulting from the use of our services, including but not limited to academic performance or technical interruptions during remote learning sessions.
4. Governing Law, Modifications, and Contact Information
These Terms and Conditions and your use of the services are governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of the United Kingdom, without regard to its conflict of law principles. Any legal action or proceeding related to these terms shall be brought exclusively in the courts of the United Kingdom.
We reserve the right to modify these terms at any time to reflect changes in educational regulations or business operations. We will notify you of any changes by updating the 'Effective Date' of these terms. For questions regarding these terms, or to discuss specific learner needs for homeschoolers or high-achieving students, please contact us through our official communication channels. Your continued use of our services after updates constitutes acceptance of the new terms.
